Laser Panels joins GroupTekdata

Laser panels Inc.,  specialized in the fabrication and identification of custom broadcast and multimedia panels, joins Group Tekdata Inc.

New certification for Tekcast

Tekcast, casting division of GroupTekdata, was issued the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) certificate of registration, by Public Works and Government Services Canada. This certificate allows Tekcast to examine, process or transfer goods in accordance with the Defense Production Act and the Controlled Goods Regulations.

Also, because of its high quality control standard and rigorous investment casting procedures, Tekcast has recently been approved as a supplier by Messier Dowty, for the casting of landing gear parts.

GroupTekdata announces the acquisition of a new TRUMATIC L 3050 high performance laser machine. This acquisition will help GroupTekdata increase its sheet metal fabrication productivity, to the benefit of its ever-growing customers needs, in terms of fast delivery, high quality, and flexibility.

Summer holiday at Tekdata

The GroupTekdata plants are open for regular business throughout the summer season. Our employees take their summer vacation on a flexible schedule, without affecting any of our regular operations.

Collision post door inspection

First article inspection, for collision post doors, with Bombardier Transport and New Jersey Transit.

HVAC base frame delivery

GroupTekdata completed and shipped the prototype HVAC base to TTA, to be used in MBTA service.

HVAC ducting delivery

GroupTekdata completed delivery of first seven car sets of HVAC ducting, for Bombardier Transport, on the New Jersey bilevel cars.

Business partnership

Groupe Tekdata signed with JCF-Kaufmann (Germany) an agreement of integration, to distribute and to manufacture windows for the railway industry, and another with Fahrzeugtechnik Dessau, as well as with Gebr. Bode Kassel (Germany), two large manufacturers in the railway industry, to distribute and manufacture from various subsystems like doors, cabs, and drive systems, up to complete cars. We are also looking forward to establish a manufacturing partnership in the medical industry with interested parties. We are certainly ready for different business endeavors, from manufacturing locally to providing technical assistance and training to local manufacturers.

CTA prequalification

GroupTekdata has been approved by Chicago Transit Authority, as a supplier for side doors, cab doors and end doors.

Resonant Medical

Starts production of their cancer diagnostic and treatment machines. GroupTekdata is proud to be part of this success, having worked on the engineering and manufacture of some of the components.
